 Our History

Quantera Global was established in early 2013 by a group of senior partners in Asia and Europe who had been working together previously in another global transfer pricing consulting firm.  We chose to establish Quantera Global in order to provide a more specialised and focused service to our rapidly growing client base. Our current global footprint consists of strategically located offices in Amsterdam, Brisbane, Cologne, Eindhoven, Genoa, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Milan, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney and Zurich.

We also have a trusted global network of alliances and relationships with key international tax, customs and transfer pricing experts, to ensure that our clients receive truly integrated and best practice transfer pricing and local tax services across the globe.

Our Name

‘Quantera’ is derived from the Latin word ‘quantum’ (meaning ’how much’) and the Latin word ’statera’ (meaning ‘balance’). The combination of these two elements captures the essence of our philosophy – we work with our clients to determine the arm’s length price in a related party transaction while ensuring the optimal balance in the:

  • Allocation of profits within a multinational company;
  • Management of overall effective tax rates; and
  • Mitigation of global and local tax/transfer pricing risks.

Our Logo

Our corporate logo further reflects our philosophy. The symbol relates to the ‘Q’ of Quantera while also representing a keyhole, reflecting our ability to unlock and resolve the complex challenges faced by our clients in managing the operational and tax aspects of their global transfer pricing arrangements across multiple jurisdictions while ensuring that those arrangements are consistent with the client’s corporate governance and tax risk frameworks.
